Over the past six months, Virtual Autopsy India has embarked on an inspiring mission to educate and raise awareness across the country about the revolutionary potential of Virtual Autopsies. With the leadership of Dr Hemanth Naik and his dedicated team, Virtual Autopsy India has been championing this innovative technology, setting new benchmarks in post-mortem examinations while redefining forensic science for the modern era.
The Virtual Autopsy process offers a groundbreaking alternative to traditional post-mortem examinations, replacing invasive procedures with advanced imaging technologies. This method provides precise, quick, and non-invasive insights, proving invaluable for medical diagnostics, forensic investigations, and humanitarian efforts.
Dr Hemanth Naik and his team have taken on the challenge of introducing this advanced technology to India. It has the potential to address significant gaps in forensic infrastructure and enhance the country’s medico-legal systems.
Virtual Autopsy India organised over a dozen workshops in major cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. These sessions brought together healthcare professionals, forensic experts, medical students, and policymakers, fostering a dialogue on the transformative power of virtual autopsy technologies. Participants were provided with live demonstrations of virtual autopsy tools, giving them hands-on experience with this innovative process.
From packed lecture halls to engaging workshops, Virtual Autopsy India’s journey has been filled with moments of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. Photos and videos from these events showcase the enthusiastic participation of attendees and the impactful demonstrations and presentations conducted by Dr Hemanth Naik and his team.
